Rules of Play
Here are our rules of play so that everyone can enjoy Little Play Planet in a safe and happy way. All customers purchasing a ticket are accepting the following terms & conditions.
Session Times
- We are open on selected weekdays at 10am plus weekends & holidays, currently offering three sessions everyday during peak times. We also have an 12:30pm and 3:00pm session.
- Our current session times during peak times are: 10.00am-12.00pm, 12.30-2.30pm & 3.00-5.00pm.
- Sessions are 120 minutes, giving enough time to enjoy the mini town without feeling rushed. Towards the end of the session, we will indicate it’s time to get ready to leave.
- Each area is reset before the next session, ensuring a consistent play experience.
- Visitors are asked to arrive no sooner than 10 minutes before the start of their booked session to allow tidy up time
- There may be rare occasions where opening times have to change. Every effort will be made via social media and the website to contact those affected.
- Customers who arrive after the start of their play session will still need to leave at the end of the session, irrespective of time spent at Little Play Planet.
- Little Play Planet reserves the right to close should there be a risk to the safety and security of visitors and staff.
- All children visiting Little Play Planet must be accompanied by an adult, (18 years+). All children must be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.
- Little Play Planet staff are not responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children. As such, parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for the supervision of their child/children whilst at Little Play Planet.
- Any child or adult causing wilful damage will be liable to pay for any damage caused.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a person to leave.
- Aggressive behaviour or illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit Little Play Planet for 48 hours.
- We may offer a rescheduled session providing contact is made prior to the original booked session.
- Last orders for cooked meals from the kitchen will be 30 minutes before the end of the session although you will still be able to order drinks & snacks after this time.
- Only food and drink purchased in the café may be consumed on the premises.
- We reserve the right to enforce a minimum transaction value for card payments.
- The gated play area is a food-free zone, all food or drinks should be consumed in the cafe area.
- No shoes should be worn in the play area, strictly socks only.
- Little Play Planet is a smoke free facility and smoking/vaping is prohibited anywhere on our site, including the use of e-cigarettes.
- Assistance animals only.
- The Scottish Government recommends adults should wear a face covering except when sitting down to eat or drink (unless medically exempt).
Tickets, transfers and refunds
- All children playing at Little Play Planet must have a valid ticket for the session they are attending.
- The ticket price includes admission for one session.
- The ticket price excludes food and drink.
- Customers with pre-booked tickets are given priority entry. Entry cannot be guaranteed for visitors who have not booked.
- All tickets are non-refundable. If you wish to transfer your booking, 24 hours’ notice prior to the start time of the original pre-booked play session must be given. If you opt to transfer your booking, the new play session date must be within one month of the original pre-booked session.
- Little Play Planet reserves the right to update ticket prices.
- In circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel a booking. We will endeavour to notify you as soon as we become aware that this is necessary. A refund for the money paid will be issued within fourteen (14) days of cancellation.
Photography
- Visitors can take photographs of their own children only for personal, private, non-commercial purposes only.
- With consent, Little Play Planet may opt to share photographs of children playing on our website, social media or promotional materials.
Security
- Little Play Planet operates a CCTV system inside the premises.
- CCTV is in use for safety and security, day and night as well as to assist in identifying and prosecuting any offenders.
